Note: this is not an actual book, but it is an eBook for Kindle.This book, “Monkey Kingdom: Gorillas to Chimpanzees: Monkey Books for Kids” is a very entertaining book by Speedy Publishing. I have now purchased multiple Baby Professor books, and both my child and I enjoy reading them. I believe that they give some great basic facts while inspiring children to ask questions and learn more. I like that this book is on the short side which helps with the attention spans of younger children.
As with other Baby Professor books, the photographs are beautiful full color and very detailed. The books are short at 18 pages, but they do give quite a few facts within that short amount of pages. And also as with other Baby Professor books, some of the language is a bit advanced for children. It does give opportunity for discussion with children, so I appreciate that. One of the first sentence of the book is “Gorillas are ground-dwelling herbivores that inhabit the forests of central Africa”. I don’t know about your four-year-old, but mine wouldn’t understand anything in that first sentence besides “gorillas” and maybe “forests”.
We purchased this book to learn more about monkeys of world that we may not have known otherwise. I learned quite a bit from this particular book as well, including information about the cute little pygmy marmoset who is the smallest monkey in the world. I rarely give any book a five star rating, but this book is very enjoyable and pleasant. I am giving this eBook four stars.

This book “Monkey Kingdom Gorillas to Chimpanzees”, is part of the series collection for Children’s Animal Books, published by Speedy Publishing. This is a picture book with short references for each photograph or picture based on the idea that a child will easy remember the concept by just looking into the picture related to that concept taught.
An excellent publication addressed to small children that can be used for teaching purposes and as a source to share a good lecture with your kids. As this book is about Gorillas and Chimpanzees any small children or reader will get an enriching knowledge experience.
It contains amazing full color, high detailed, photographs/pictures about the Monkey Kingdom and concepts that characterize them as primates. There are approximately 260 known monkey species which are known as “tribe”, “troop” or “mission”. Gorillas are herbivorous apes that inhabit the forests of central Africa. Each gorilla family has a silverback leader who scares away other animals. The smallest monkey in the world is the Pygmy Marmoset who usually lives in dense rain forest. Orangutans live in Indonesia and Malaysia on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo.
Lovely photographs and references, you may find, from Snow Monkeys, Mona Monkey, the beautiful Dusky Leaf Monkey, Mandrills, Gibbon and Chimpanzees.
